One of Europe’s most renowned singer songwriters in the Roots/Americana genre revisits a ‘best of’ selection of songs from his 20+ CD catalog with a stellar production.

Requests Revisited (Part One) EP
(Reintroducing the songs of Ad Vanderveen)

Over a 40 year time span singer songwriter Ad Vanderveen has written hundreds of timeless songs.
Most of these appeared on CDs, which after some years went out of print and are no longer available.
To keep the songs most popular among his fans in circulation, as well as introduce them to a new audience, a new project was started;
“Requests Revisited” is series of re-recordings that will be made available as digital download EPs, starting september 2014.
Ad and producer/musician Rene Kaaij @ Seafrontmusic have revisited a selection of AV favorites and will release the first 5 songs as ‘Requests Revisited’ Part One.
A full length CD and possibly vinyl release will be scheduled by the time part three is completed in early 2015.
This project and spontaneous collaboration came about after Rene, an excellent multi-instrumentalist/producer and long-time AV fan, requested a song and joined Ad on stage during a show recently.
The two started talking and working together and, along with some stellar musicians, put a new shine on some of Ad’s audience’s favorite songs.
